all right, so i go here and i download the "Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP Graphical client (includes screensaver for Win 95/98/ME)" for my computer [running windows 2k pro].

I attempt to unpack it and install it.

what does it do? it says Adobe Photoshop!
I think "..all right? let's install it and see what happens".
So, I install it and I GET ADOBE PHOTOSHOP!

i've erased it and re-installed. same business.

Photoshop works...

I've scanned for viruses and spyware. nothing.

helpppp :eh?: :eh?: :eh?:

It is not a big deal it just means that your photoshop install is still in your temp folder. You can clear out your temp folder and this will be fixed. I also believe that if you move the [email protected] installer into a new direwctory then it will work normally. Fold on!!!

You just have to find the right temp folder to empty. try doing a system search for photoshop since that is the program trying to launch when you are running the [email protected] installer. If that does not turn up anything you can use the console version and trayit to put it in the system tray. With the console version just create a directory and place it in. There is no installer it just runs. Good luck and welcome to the fold!!!

I'm not sure if you were able to fix your problem yet, but if not, try creating a new folder, downloading into it, then going into its directory, run the exe version. Should'nt ask you for any "open with" at that point.
