I'm running a 1.2 gig amd 200 mhz fsb on an ASUS a7m266 board.
I have 4 case fans and a no name hsf setup rated for 1.5 gig with arctic silver.
the problem is I'm getting readings of mb 19c cpu 34c while running seti. room temp is 20c.
used probe , mbm, Sandra, and bios temp monitor.
all say about the same.
is this right or is there wrong?

ASUS mobo temperature diodes are notoriously inaccurate. Try adding 5'C to both temperature readings to get more realistic figures. The mobo temp should be several degrees above ambient (heck, maybe just 1'C) due to electrical heating. At 24'C mobo, and 39'C CPU, I would say that your Tbird is running at a comfortable temp range.

still seem low to me.
I had it oc'ed to 1440 12x120 and it didn't change much.
won't boot at 12x130.

Well, the only way to be sure is to look for some bios update for your ASUS or go get one of those digital thermometers. Even a medical thermometer might do if you don't want to spend lots -just make sure the upper limit is around 50'C.
