High I have an abit-kt7, t-bird 900, savage 200, 356 crap pc133 ram. when i shut down or even restart my comp wont send out a video signal to my monitor. I have to flip the power switch and turn it on again. I dont know why it does this. I have standby set to off. My sisters computer had this problem too. Don't know if it is realted but my monitor, a Viewsonic GT775 wont remember its display settings.

try reset the cmos see if the problem goes away. sometimes they do. if not try to reflash your bios to newer version and set the bios one by one parameter until it stop restart (use Ctrl Alt Del)

are you over clocking that 900 ,
i had a similar problem a couple of day`s ago, i was reinstaling my hsf , as i was cleaning the chip i must of cleaned the conductive ink off one of the L1 bridges
if i lowered the multiplier the moniter would come on if i raised it no moniter , redid the bridge`s back to normal ;D
