My Coolermaster DP5-6h51 socket A fan stops blowing every 20-30 minutes for a few seconds. Temperatures rise during this phase. Is this just a crappy fan, or is there a reason for this? My 750 tbird is currently running at almost 60c, because I'm waiting on my case fans, but the processor fan seems like a problem anyway. Is there a way to stop it's moody behavior, or just go buy a Globalwin?

In my case I have 4 case fans, 1 of them blowing on the RAM, CPU, and clock. I have seen a diff of maybe 7 degrees C with the case fans. I would suggest getting a better HSF and using Arctic Silver on it.

If your fan is plugged into the motherboard, it could be a MB problem. An adapter to plug it directly to the PS would tell you if it is the fan or not. They are cheap, and easy to find.
