Hello Everyone been awhile since i posted but its about that time and im looking for help in a Small Situation So ill get right to it

Im Worried about my Current Build bottlenecking? or becomeing a bottleneck

I have the option to change up my video card due to a warranty i purchased and the store not having my card so giving me a In store Gift card but before i do anything i want to make sure all is well at home

(My Current Build)
MSI 970A-G43
AMD FX 4100 3.6Ghz [Quad Core]
Corsair Vengeance Series 8GB DDR3-1866 [Dual-Channel]
Diamond ATI Radeon HD 7850
Cooler Master 650 Watt Power Supply

Was Wondering if that Current Setup if anyone would see a Bottleneck Issue
And For what im trading up for

(Modified Build)
Swapping Diamond ATI Radeon HD 7850
For
EVGA Nvidia GTX 580

Which seems to be doing much better on performance charts on Top benchmarks and has better stats All help and advice is much appreciated :)

Sorry for Bad Grammar/Punctuation Post Rushed

I Usally Game at 1600x900 or 1280x720 Rarely 1080
But ya id be losing almost half but the memory bit lane on the Nvidia is Higher then the ATi and also out performing it so?
The Nvidia is Memory Bus is 384-bit where is ATI is only 256

Im more Worried about anything bottlenecking with those stats?

CPU bottlenecking usually occurs at lower resolutions (such as the ones you stated). However, I don't think that the new card would be bottlenecked any more than your current one is.

And yes, the GTX 580's faster bitrate will make it perform faster than the 7850 up to the point that a game needs more than 1.5GB of VRAM. The reduction in VRAM will be less of an issue since you play at lower res.

That kinda.. seems odd your saying a resolution has something to do with bottlenecking???
And 720p or 1600x900 aren't exactly low Resolutions when your monitor has a max of 1920x1080 Last i check Bottlenecking was when your CPUs Speed Wasnt fast enough to process what the video card was sending or Vice Versa Not resolution

Infact Depending on game 1600x900 Is much more stable then My Monitors max which is 1920x1080

I have a Acer X233H and according to my screen Settings max is 1920x1080
As for Desktop Resolution i have 1600x900 as its the most comfortable to read etc.

I Could Try Higher Resolution in Games But As said some games like Crysis 3 etc i suffer a huge frame hit and stuff gets slower with my current res ive never really ran into a problem so i dont exactly know what bottlenecking feels or looks like in a game just want to make sure i avoid it

Higher resolutions put higher strain on the GPU (so it is easier for the processor to keep up), whereas lower ones lead to the processor not being able to keep up with the GPU.

It will always be a balancing act between the CPU and GPU.

Bottlenecking results in one or more pieces of hardware being unable to perform at max capacity. This results in lower framerate than the affected hardware is capable of producing. Which piece causes the bottleneck will vary from game to game, since they games are optimized to different extents.
