help with setting up sli

hi i got two gtx 285 overclocked ition card i want to put them in sli i but them both in and put the drivers on and the bridge it detects the card are thier and show both card temps

but the sli bit is not showing up to enable it

The lastest driver s are installed

can any out thier help me get this sli to go
as i have never setup sli before
and i did put both of the the 16x pci express slots

i know both card work fine

i dont know what i did now they are workign in sli mode

i turned nview ona nd it seems to work

4GB ddr3 ram

mb Ga-x58A-UD7

Enermax Revolution85+ SLI 1050W


so i got got enough power


os wiindows xp sp3

do you have the sli bridge installed, wont show up without that

You have to go into the nvidia control panel (i think) to enable. I don't think windows will pop up with a message.

the first time you boot windows should show the sli capable system, after that not sure. also if you have the win7 wdm drivers they dont seem to be capable of sli, so if you updated through windows than go to guru3d and download, 191.07 as they seem the most stable for me the newer ones seem to have major issues
