ok i would like to know how to know if a overclock will be succesful. i have a xp 1600. i have a 300 watt ps. the cpu tmp is at 47. if you need to know more let me know. i can do almost anything to get a good overclock. i need help

Welcome to the forums!!
Is that 47* with the cpu run at stock or overclocked? If its stock you need to get some better cooling before you even think about overclocking. If its overclocked is that under a load or not? 47* is a pretty high temp.

thanks, it is stock, sad isn't it. do you know of good cooling stuff. sorry no water cooling, i don't have enough money or faith in water.
