Is an ATX12V connector required for an Asus P4T-E Motherboard w/ a P4 Northwood? I am using a normal ATX 300watt, and the PC is setup completely and correctly, yet it still doesnt boot (fans n everything goes on, the video starts to start, then goes back to sleep).

yes you will use 3 plugs to fire up the p4t-e mobo
the standard atx plug that has like 20 or so pins , the little 4 pin square looking thing (only p4's use it) and another thing long connector thats has about 8 pins on it (looks like an old "AT" connector), chances are your psu is not p4 compliant and you'll need to get a new one

Thank you bill ni the science guy :). You are referring to the ATX12V and the AUXILIARY. I was aware of them before, of course my old P4T (original) didnt require them to boot. It seems the P4T-E does. No, my current PSU is standard ATX. I was already aware of that, thanks anyways.
