Luckily for me, that is.

My friend just built a system on the Shuttle AK31, and he ordered a coolermaster HHC-001 for it. Unfortunately, the heatpipes hit the northbridge fan and did not allow it to seat properly. Seeing that it would fit on my Asus A7V133, I traded him my CAK-38 for it. I'll say a few things about it.

1. The clip is excellent. It was extremely easy to install.
2. The clip may get in the way of some RAM, if it is close to the socket.
3. This heatsink had the worst base finish I have ever seen. It was both rough and wavy. It took me over an hour of lapping to finally get it flat. It appeared to have been sanded with 180 grit sandpaper. I WOULD NOT put this on my chip without lapping.
4. With a good lapping, Temps are 2C lower than my CAK-38! So far it is performing slightly better.
5. It is slightly quieter than the CAK-38. This is very marginal. The whine is just slightly lower pitched, which makes it more bearable for me.

All in all this is a great heatsink for $30. I would recommend it to anyone, but expect to give it a good lapping.
