HIS X1800XT = 12K easy with single core cpu!

It was a long journey to reach 12k in 3dmark05 with my HIS X1800XT see http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=2053 and that was with dual core Opteron 170 and cat 5.13 drivers.

But now 6.2betas made reaching 12k soooo easy and with room to spare on mem side of my HIS X1800XT and only using a single core Opteron 148!

Wow. Nice scores. I think my cpu is holding me back in benchmarks. Even with it oced to 285x8 it still limits me to about 9,350 in 3dmark05. Without volt changes, card will oc to 685 core and 830 mem. Grats on the scores. Its not surprising that the single core is so far up there. You have it oced to over 3.0 and as it stands, duel core is not really being taken advantage of yet. Grats on the score again

Ok, I figured it out. Managed to get 11,100 with my x1800xt. I am really going to hate giving this card to back to my friend. I hope his parts never come in lol. Then I will have to go back to my sad old 6800le

12.1k is really impressive. I notice your running really low volts on the memory, is teh memory 'stable' or does it artifact. I cannot clock the memory on these cards past 800mhz.

Lower the mem volt = higher oc and no artifacts 1.979-1.996v is the range outside of that you can get slight artifacts
