is there anyway to multiplayer homeworld with direct ip connect

instead of going threw there server ( witch i think isnt even up anymore)

yeah you can do that it just depends if the game supports it most of the time U can if U have MSN and it adds that bit on the right hand side panel that says "ask contact to play (GAME HERE)
