Because i don´t have money to buy a new GFX card i decided to OC my V3 2000. So i vent to the local PC shop and bought a nice looking Blue Orb. I used the thermal compound that came with the Orb and some Super Attack glue to hold the orb on the GPU.
(too bad that the holes on the Orb don´t fit the one on the gfx card).

So how much can i OC the cardwith the current setup and which prog to use????

Will i be able to OC more if i make memory HS and if i add a fan to the backside of the card??????

THANX

Go here and download v3twk25.zip. This is a prog specifically meant for the voodoo3's, I used it a while back and it worked great on my agp 3500. I verified the link, downloaded and scanned the file with NAV (updated) so you should be alright.

The question of "how much?" is up to your vid card. When it starts becoming unstable you need to back it off until it is stable again. Be careful though as these cards are no longer supported or rma worthy. Take it a little at a time and play your fav game to test the results, also keep in mind the limitations of your monitor when setting the refresh rates. If you don't know them, look up the manufacturer online, they should have them posted.

I don't know about being able to push more if you put a fan on the back, but it should make it more stable while oc'd. If definately will now hurt.

Hope this helps.:)
