How are the leds put into the holes in the reservois?

Ho guys.In reservoirs how the leds are put into holes?What is the mechanism?

They just slip fit, typically.

Depending on the reservoir, some are 3mm or 5mm holes. As ATM said, they just slip in with a little force in some cases.

I have quit shoving them all the way inn I glue them so they will just stay in the hole with black silicone sealer, that way when they die I can actually get them out.

So they fit at the plug?In what way they stay fixed at the internal of the hole?

They are a press fit, friction holds them...
