Hi,

I got a Pentium 3 Coppermine 700 Mhz CPU on an Intel 440 ZX board. My problem is that I cannot increase the clock multiplier of my CPU beyond 7, so i am not able to overclock it. Is there any way to do it?

bye, thanks

OK, let's start with the basics... you don't overclock with the multiplier on intel chips, it is set by the chip and the MB setting is irrelevant(sp?).

I suggest you read the beginners guides on the front page to get some information on the hobby you are entering into... it will save you a lot of headaches. BTW, overclocking is done with the FSB, your MB manual will tell you how to change that. There are consequences to doing so, so please read the beginning guides...
