I heard overclocking can result in FAH sending work units back early (I apologize I cannot remember the person's username who told me). How can I tell if this is happening? What do I look for in the logs?

If you set the flag "-verbosity 9", you will be able to see entries in your log.txt or LogPrev.txt file that look like this:

[10:07:16] Folding@home Core Shutdown: FINISHED_UNIT
[10:07:19] CoreStatus = 64 (100)
[10:07:19] Unit 7 finished with 93 percent of time to deadline remaining.

Overclocking returns unit faster in that the machine is itself faster. As an anology, lets say that you *are* your machine. Now imagine how much faster you are if you drink a ton of caffine. This is your machine overclocked. It is faster therefore it can do more.

I think he meant erroring out and returning units before they are finished.

If your machine is not stable, you will find errors in the logs. ;)
