I would guess that your asking if your cpu is a 266 (133fsb) or a 200 (100 fsb)? If you boot up with a fsb of 100 and your cpu shows 1.2MHz then it is a 200 (100 fsb). If you boot up at 133 fsb and it shows the correct MHz then it is a 266 (133 fsb). This is asuming that you have left your cpu multiplier set at default.
No I'm asking How can I tell what my FSB is going to be by setting Mults. in Cmos or whatever it is you do that in.is your FSB the 100 on up one's? then what's the x6-15 one's?
To know / Change your Mult. Settings you have to go into your Bios (in the case Cmos) then go into Cmos CPU PLUG & PLAY or CPU SETTINGS (whatever is called) and you'll see your current settings, then you'll decide if you want to change them or not
Crispy, Have you read the other threads about the KK266 & 266-R?
There is a mountain of info out there, but just this once I will (IWILL get it!)
give you the link to a great FAQ.
