how could i install an install of 98 if my hard drive is already partitioned

i got me partition magic 7.0 and im wondering how do i use it to make a new partition cause i took a gig free from main partition but i cant figure out how to make that into a new one.. for windows installation so i could use my force feedback wheel ..

I believe you can't. 98b has to be installed into the first x cylinders of the HD, and will alter your Master Boot Record. This will make your XP installation not work anymore. Only way I know off is to make two new partitions. Install win98 in one. Then install XP in the other. This will setup a dual boot (or triple in your case) system again. This will allow you to enter your original XP install again. Then delete the partition holding the new XP install.

Cumbersome, but it should work.
