I am new to overclocking and have a few questions. I have a Gigabyte GA-7IXE4 mobo with a duron 800mhz processor. I can adjust the FSB on the mobo to 115mhz and the multiplier is 8 so I get 920mhz. Is there any way I can change the multiplier to say a 9.5? I have no problem with the temp now of the computer as it runs 40 C max with benchmarks. I have read about the pencil trick but how does this allow me change the multiplier? Will it show up in the bios? Any wisdom is greatly appreciated.

what you need to do is conect the L1 bridges on your cpu with a rear defogger repair kit

Unfortunately GigaByte motherboards do not have anyway to change the multiplier or core voltage. If you want to up those the only way to do it would be to physically change the processor itself. so if you're brave check out this artical from Tom's Hardware Guide
