in AIDA32 it says that my agp is disabled... i dunno wtf that means, but i think that may be why my games are running like **** with my 5900nu. Heres a pic of what aida32 says:

i looked around in my bios, but i didnt see anything about disableing or enableing agp...

i tried to enable agp texture acc. in dxdiag, but it wont let me do that in there either... showed me this:

That doesn't have onboard video too does it?

There should be an option to disable/enable in the BIOS. That is the only place it could be.

yeah, i have the newest omega drivers and dx9.0b, and no my mobo doesnt have any onboard video...

im pretty sure i looked all over the bios, but i found nothing for enabling agp... have an AsRock P4VT8 with VIA chipset (PT800) mobo if it helps at all... :(

what is your AGP aperture set to? I remember hearing something about it entering PCI mode if this is set to something like 16 and below

it also says that fastwrite is not supported and side band adressing is disabled....that aint good either. u checked the bios?

hmm... my agp apeture size is 128, and i have agp fast write enabled in the bios... cant find anything about side band addressing nor enabling agp in my bios. this really sux :(

install VIA 4in1 driver even those it such but you have that is how I fix my VIA KT4 mobo and your MOVO also a VIA...

Its because of your Chipset, under advanced video settings it will probably say your running in PCI mode, reinstalling your chipset drivers will fix this.

ok steve, you found my problem... now, just take me a little further. heres what i see:
pci_mode.jpg

now, i've tried to install the via 4in1 driver 3 or 4 times, but it still obviously hasnt fixed my problem. is there some other via chipset driver that im failing to find, or what? thanks in advanced...

maybe you need a update BIOS +VIA 4in1 driver... I used to have the same problem with my GIGABYTE KT4 ultra mobo as well as my MSI KT4 ultra MOBO they both had been fixed with the newest VIA 4in1 driver and updated BIOS..

i had that problem once also

unistall your chipset drivers and your video drivers

and delete your video card out of the device manager

reboot DO NOT LET WINDOWS INSTALL anything

then go back to device manager and add new hardware add your
chipset drivers

then install your video drivers.

thanks alot. i fixed it now. every1 been big help :)

now just need to download 3dmark03 and benchmark myself...
