I believe it if can produce a 16:9 image up to 1920x1080i @ 50FPS or 1920x1080p of atleast 24FPS on up to 60FPS it's an HD monitor.

Now are you talking computer monitors? or TV's/etc?

Computer monitors have been capable of displaying HD resolutions since the early 90's. Only thing some lack is widescreen. Also most monitor's only take VGA inputs, which are normally only from computers.

Dell's widescreens are good examples of what you might consider 'HD monitors' They take multiple inputs, and can nativly display HD resolutions. You can connect and xBox 360 straight to it.

I was talkin about computer monitors. I have a 17' LCD monitor that I bought last year. Would it be consider a HD monitor? Could I hook up 360 to it?

My ESP is a bit off lately.
We'll need to know the specs before we can determine if it is or not.
