UPDATE: Just got both a 240 gig for my desktop and a 120 gig for this laptop. The lappy only has sata 2 so I average about 140 MB/s. My desktop with sata 3 averages 420 MB/s
To say the least I don't know why I was considering raiding them. I CANT use the bandwidth that I currently have. Nothing that I can think of will make them work that hard.
I am also glad I went with the 6970 instead of the over priced yet fabulously fast 7970. Eventually I'll go with a couple 7950s but meh. I don't need that kind of new tax right now.
Overall my new system cost me 2600 and change. I've decided I want to grab a 2nd asus 25 inch, and go dual monitor.
Life is good, Dentists suck, Oxycontin is working.
