How do we go down in WU's?

I was just looking at the team graphs and notice that occationally a team will go "down" in wu's... How is this possible, or what does it mean?

can someone fill me in?

I think it means that people have quit the team and taken their
WUs with them to whatever team they moved to.

Also, and more likely, Berkely screwed something up.

We rarely lose people

Oh, good thinking.. anyone else have any ideas?

We've lost a couple of people here and there, and yes, when they go, they usually take their WUs with them. About the only other time I've seen the WU count go down was when the person was using a patched client and was asked to leave the team.
