I know how important cooling is for the cpu and have decided to spend the extra bucks on the Swiftech MC462A. But I was curious as to the difference in case fans.

I'm ordering the Addtronics 6896 case and to save on shipping/handling charges I am probably going to just buy the Sunon 80mm and 90mm fans that they sell from their site. Their prices on these fans seem to be in the same ballpark (actually about .50 cheaper than other places). From what I've read, sunon seems to be a reliable fan but I personally have never used them.

Thanks for any info.

Assuming a reliable brand like Sunon, it's the cfm that count. This can be difficult or impossible to determine if the case manufacturer doesn't list these specs. Sometimes they list the model number, which can be checked at Sunon's Web site. Otherwise, you takes your chances. If the 80mm fans cost $6 or less each, it's doubtful that they'll move a lot of air. Slight niggle: there are 92mm fans, but no 90mm's.
