How is AGOGA Stepping ?

I got a Athlon Xp1700+ With the stepping of AGOGA. Was just wondering is it good ? I got a pretty stable OC right now "Check Sig" ...

that's a pretty average stepping, i had an agoga 1700 that did 1800, not too shabby.

ya its not great or not bad. good for 100-250mhz oc but wont do 350mhz+ ocs you see w/ AGOIA/AROIA

I only could get 1.65 ghz with my old 1800+ agoga "y" don`t remember the week

I'm running a AGOGA Y 1900+XP and so far right out of the box it will do 1900.

My stepping is AGOGA W .. I can't get over 147 FSB :-\ .. I'm not sure if it is the Ram or Cpu holding me back. But I'm getting an Extra 150mhz out of this chip. Runs stable. I wish I could go higher though :-\

So far the highest I have gottin it up to is 158 but look at my sig and you can see why. As soon as I can I'm gonig to unlock it and push it to the limits.

Im thinking maybe raise my Vcore. I think I could get 150 out of it Atleast.

I'd have to say most likely it is your ram holding you back. Sdram is kinda limited to OCing. You might try PC150 if you want to use Sdram.

I just noticed you have a K7S5A... My K7S5A with an XP 1800 couldn't do more than 143 FSB.

Yeah, I was thinking that the mobo was holding me back. But come christmas time. I feel a major Upgrade =)
