I'm considering on getting that mobo. My goal is to OC a 1.33 tbird to 1600 with WC. How hard/easy will it be with that mobo. Will I have to solder? I know how, just don't want to do it to a mobo.
If this mobo is no good for that can you please reccomend a good mobo for a 1.33 tbird with DDR support.

Thanks for any help

you may have to solder it depends on the version of the board you get, as there are a couple floating around one that has 10 dip switches and one that only has 4. If you get the 4DS version you will need to solder in a wire to jumper the location where DS 10 should be. Besides that i really like my A7A266 i am running a duron 750@950 with air cooling.

Yea, i Really like my A7A266 motherboard also. I don't even have DDR ram yet, and it is still smoking fast. I have had my Duron 750 unlocked, and @954 @ 159fsb X 6 multiplier. Runs beautifully. Didn';t put a fan/thermal paste on the northbirdge. My ram is the limiting factor, but also i would much rather have an extremely high fsb and trade off clock speed.

3dmark2001 score with VooDoo3 @ 187 : 1798.......the record @ madonion.com is 1880 with a duron @ 1016. I will do whatever i have to, just to beat him!
