If you're going with a closed system, you might want to go to an auto parts store and buy an old heater instead of that Black Ice. It's much cheaper and equally (or more) effective.
Also, depending on your future plans (pelts or not), the Gemini waterblock may be a better alternative. I'm waiting to hear back about how they'll fare with a pelt, but I know that they smoke the competition in a normal watercooling setup (and it's US$35 for the low-flow version). Here's Hoot's waterblock roundup, although it doesn't include a MCW372. Here's Gemini.
If you want to know more about Gemini, the guy who makes them (Peter) is here as Highlander944.
Good Luck!
I also recommend the Gemini Block along with a auto parts heatercore, you'll end up kicking youself in the butt if you get that black ice...it may look nice...but its dang expensive.
RoadWarrior....are you trying to state that Intel is overall better and only useable with Tupperware? I'm totally for tupperware (cause my mom used to sell it). If you're saying that tupperware is only for Intel nuts then you're WRONG! I used to use a tupperware container as my reservoir too.
Just trying to spread a little humour, it's like fertiliser for your brain you know....... or is that bullsh*t.
Basing that comment on a totally prejudicial and ill informed opinion that Tupperware like Intel is overpriced and not necessarily any better than the next most popular brand name Of course if you really want to be honest about that "Powered by Tupperware" bragging rights, case sticker, use the darn stuff.
Ahh...you're on my side. sorry. didn't mean to attack an ally. my mom got mad at me for using the tupperware anyways . i just thought i'd throw that in. now i'm using a ziplock disposable food container. my tupperware container wouldn't fit in the fridge.
