i think the ax-7 looks like a great heatsink

i am wondering how many of u will be geting it , and with what fan ?

i think id go with the panaflow 40 cfm one , im into queit air cooling

Everywhere I've seen it, it's been right at $30 dor the heatsink alone. Heatsink Factory has it alone, or with some fans. price varies depending on the fan. They even have it with a panaflo.

To get the .28 C/W you will need at least the 68cfm Delta. Using a less powerfull fan, and without the veins that the delta has, you will get mediocre performance.

I don't know about that. Looking at the review posted by AMDMB.com a while back:

it still does pretty good even with 30 CFM. That's virtually silent. Maybe with an 80mm to 90mm adapter you could really get some cooling with no noise. I'm really thinking about getting one.

the more i hear about it the more i want it but then i realize that i have a swifty and i might get a tad better temps. But, knowing me i will prolly order one anyway cause of the awesome performance.
