I'm going with the following water cooling setup.
tc-4 waterblock
black ice extreme rad
pump undecided.
I'm not going to have a pelt now, though I might someday. I also hope to add chipset and video card coolers at some point. One of the main reasons I'm going watercooling is to make the system quiet. Would I be better off with a lower flow 120mm fan (say a Panaflo at around 70 cfm) or to take a higher speed one (like the Ys Tech at 130cfm) and 7v mod it to slow and quieten (is that a word?) it down?
Also, since I'm designing my case by hand (building it from plexi), is there any considerations I should consider. For example, I'm thinking about building a separate chamber underneath the main part of the case and putting my pump and reservoir in there. Does anyone have any experience with doing this? I would probably still mount the fan and radiator in the main part of the case, though I could also put them in the lower chamber as well.
