How big of a UPS would one need to run 2 PCs? How would you calculate your requirements? I just snagged the biggest one I could get off of Belkin's site with a half-off coupon (12345), and I hope it's enough to power my gaming rig and PIII 733Mhz fileserver. I simply need it for clean power and enough time to kill my machines in the event of an outage... I'm not planning to plug my monitor into it.

Thanks!

I run 2 computers off a 1050VA UPS and I can run them for about 10 minutes. which is plenty of time to saves stuff and shut them down.

300VA is the minimum I would use for a single pc and monitor. So 600VA for 2 pc's. Of course more power equals more time and more goodies.

i just keep my moniter and comp on the ups, other stuff gets regular surge protection
