How does the accuclear affect the cooling performance of your system? Can it harm the hoses and the pump?
Accu clear won't hurt your pump or hoses, the stuff was made for aquariums that use the same pumps and hoses we use for h2o cooling. I'm not sure what it would do to your temps as I have never tried it in a water rig but I don't think it would hurt.

As for the white stuff in your hoses I think that may be just chemicals settling out of your water. I had that problem when I used softened well water but it went away when I flushed my system and switched to r/o water.
