How stable or youre voltage Lines on the Antec 550 truecontrol ??

I cant afford a PC power 510 psu for $170 so i need to go the alternative.

I want a a good quality power supply that has pretty strong line and wont up and down like crazy on me. What psu would u recomend for under $130, i also want a psu that will handle high voltages and heavy overclocking.

Mu current 500watt psu, the 3.3v line is starting to jump from 3.50 to 3.10 to 3.20 to 3.40, the Line graph i have on Seriuz samerize which will go up and down depeding if the voltage goes up and down is like Al jaggy which is showing my 3.3v line i starting to take a dump.

I thought it was the pluggs that were worn out. So i took an old 150 watt psu and pulled some pluggs out on the main connector cut the wires and did the same on my 500 watter to replace all the orange pluggs and the single blue one, i hooked it all back up correctly solderd the wires toegthe, used some electric tape, plugged it up and turned it on, the lines were stable again @ 3.30-3.33, but as soon as started playing a game they went all crazy again, and now even idle it still does this.

I was looking at the Antec 530 truepower in a local store. Can anyone give any info on how this holds out, like what are youre voltage lines idle and what they when on full load. Do they jump up and down like crazy. I really need a new psu soon before my current one frys something.

Also is it tue the Antec 530 truepower has Voltage adjustments that u can do manually, like t ochange the 5v or 12 or something ?

Edit: Ok im talking about the Antec 550 true ontrol sorry for the misunderstanding.

There is no 530 watt Antec, but there is a 550 watt. The Antec TrueControl is the best non-PCP&C PSU, though I'd get it off Newegg (only $100 there). It does allow you to manually adjust the voltages by ~1%. Another good PSU is the 530 watt Sparkle for $65 at Newegg.

Yeai know i was thinking abut something else thats why i Edited it to 550watt truecontrol.

Iv been hearing things about Sparkel, but i think its alota Hype just Enermax was. So the best power supply to get for under $130 is the Antec 550 Truecontrol right ?

The 530 Sparkle/Fortrons are absolute beast...That or the Antec 550 TrueControl or TruePowers are also very good power supply's

Either one if you do not want to spend the money on PC Power & Cooling.

I have owned all three of the above power supply's and they all are rock solid supply's...Like the TrueContol's best of the three...But really any one of them are an excellent choice.

:D

Ok thanks, what about the Antec 550truepower? Can i still adjust voltages with that thing or not?
The TrueControl 550 is the same as True550 except it add the control unit to adjust voltages. Without the control unit there is no way to adjust the voltages on the Truepower True550.
