A proper thermal paste application is an important part of getting the best temperatures possible for your cooling solution. Too much or too little can lead to higher than expected readings and reduce the already little headroom there is to overclock these processors. With the imminent release of AMD's new processor, according to popular Twitter leaker @momomo_us and confirmed on the website, Noctua is ahead of the curve in updating its NT-H2 (and potentially their other TIMs) usage instructions by adding the AMD AM5 processors to the "small" CPU type.
