It all depends on what you want, personally. Case size is the main factor when you consider your cooling solution...a bigger case will generally offer more air-flow, and is easier to clean up the wiring...it would also allow more room for a res/pump and a radiator for water cooling. But you may not have the space to put a large case in your computer desk...so you have to make a decision between size and practicality. As far as drive bays are concerned, it really come down to what you need room for, and any upgrades you plan to make. The design is a matter of taste, and since there are cheaper, generic companies offering the same design as the more expensive counterparts, there is a case design for all budgets...but I will remind you of the old addage, "You get what you pay for". In the end, there is no clear cut method of choosing a case, and trust me, you will see a better one as soon as you purchase one It always happens...
