How to get the GUI client to fold when logged out?

How do I get the GUI client to fold when the system is logged out? I think this has been asked before.

If on Win NT, 2K, or XP, set it up to run as a scheduled task and tell it to start when the computer starts. This will keep it on all the time, even if you log out or change users.

You may be able to do this in Win98, too. I've never tried it.

Any ideas on how to do it on a 98 machine? And there was something I heard about running it as a service. Can any one shed some light?

I know how to start it up hidden, but if you manually log out, I believe it stops the program.

It's a registry edit.
