motherboards dont UNLOCK. the cpu's do. but only AMD not intel.
to overclock a intel cpu you have to go into the motherboards bios at startup and up the front side bub (FSB). this is the only way to overclock a intel cpu...

Not all motherboards support overclocking (by increasing FSB), go into the BIOS and check if you can.
As you have an Intel Motherboard its not very likely you can overclock the CPU.

I've never seen an Intel mobo that lets you change the FSB. It's not going to happen bro. :( Intel doesn't want you to be able to OC.

If there aren't any Intel mobos supporting FSB change, most of us wouldn't be here :p :p :p .If the bios doesn't allow you to up the FSB the jumpers on the mobo do :D Just make sure you read the manual.

I don't believe that any mobo's actually made by intel allow many FSB changes. You should consider upgrading your motherboard to one that will allow overclocking. What proc do you have? If that step is to radical, use something luke softFSB.

Gosh, now after i o/c my brother's P3, I kind of regret buying Intel board for myself since I realized it was so easy to o/c and yet I can't. :( *sOb*

Thanks anyway guys.

He's talking about an Intel mobo, not an Intel BASED mobo....HUGE DIFFERENCE, lol.
