How would 2 graphic cards work?

Scenario (NON-SLI):
2 Graphic cards, one onboard, one dedicated
Projector connected to the dedicated
Monitor connected to onboard

Say I'm playing a game (Crysis) on the monitor and decide to play it on the projector. What would I do?

Basically, I'm trying to use "clone view"...but the problem is that my projector only supports 1920x1080 while my monitor supports 1920x1200 and NVidia forces the 1920x1080 option instead and my monitor loses sharpness cause it's not native 1920x1200 anymore.

So my other alternative is to connect the monitor to the onboard graphics card...but I don't know how this would work (never used 2x graphic cards before...)

QuadCore86,

The onboard graphics aren't considered to be a separate "card" and are normally no where near as powerful as a dedicated card. In most cases upon installing a dedicated card into a system with onboard graphics, the onboard graphics will be disabled. The main exception to this would be hybrid SLI. Also, I can assure you that almost all integrated solutions will be unable to properly handle the projector at 1920x1080 and will most likely be unable to play any graphically intensive games at any resolution with over 30fps. What are your system specifications?
