How would I create a partion on a existing Exteranl drive without formating driv

Basically wat i want to do is take a section from a HDD and use that
partition for Xbox movies, So i want to create a partition in NTFS then convert it to Mac so Xbox will recognize it?

Using partition magic would probably be the best bet. Where it will shift data around and create the nessisary partition for you in the format of your choosing. Though I'd still consider to back the data up on the drive before doing such. The procedure can loose data as what happened to a guy in a recent thread.
