Willimettes are a pain in the a** to cool, they don't overclock that much... I am not sure on the Canter Processors...

I like my Northwood... Well faster than my last P4 ;)

There are currently only two types of P-4's, the Willamette and the Northwood. The Northwood is by far the better of the two. It has 0.13 micron core, lower default voltage, twice the cache, and will O/C much better. There are two 1.6 P-4's, the 1.6A with 512k cache and 1.5v default is the Northwood.

Not sure what you mean by "Canter"? The Canterwood chipset is made by Intel, but it's the i875 chipset used in motherboards. There is also a CPU called the Celeron, but this is made in both Willamette and Northwood cores. It has less cache than the P-4. In a month or two there will be a brand new CPU out called the Prescott. Hope this helps.
