How good are CBBFD's?

I don't have this chip but I'm thinking of buying it.

It's a CBBFD 0505. I heard CBBFD's suck but this guy claims they do 2.5ghz at 1.55V.

If this is true is it a decent buy?

Also, what else can I ask him to find out how good it is?

That isn't exactly great, but you neglected to tell us how much it will cost. The Winnies from the last year did better. The recent ones have been so, so.

mine will do 2.4 at stock voltage of 1.4v and 2.5 at 1.5v but i think the top of the chip maxes out somewhere a little after that cause i go any higher and i get errors but i need to find out if i can lower my multiplier to find out how much more i can squeeze out of it.... i just got mine from newegg about a week ago also mines a ID though

It costs retail - exactly how much every 3200 costs.

The thing printed on the chip read: CBBFD 0505

I wanna know if anybody has had experience with CBBFD's, as I heard the most recent ID's suck.

And if 0505 means 5th week 2005, how can that bea CBBFD? I thought all the latest ones were ID's

If you can find a CBBHD stepping...you would be much better off....

2.5Ghz at 1.55v is not that great like stated above...

My CBBHD does 2.5Ghz undervolted...1.36v...

See sig for 24/7 OC...
