Hey, do those of you with a HR-05-SLI use it with or without a fan? Does it make much difference? If you use a fan, what size/type?

It's designed to be effective as a passive sink, and depending on where your northbridge is on your board it may get enough secondary airflow. I wouldn't bother with a fan unless you've noticed your northbridge having temps higher than you're comfortable with.

why chipset temp sensor is broke.... so it always reads 40c :) haha but the cooler gets only warm to the touch on my system, im guess the secondary airflow from the vf900 on the gpu is keeping it cool.

I have a HR-05 running passively...sitting ever so close to my 12cm fan for my CPU heatsink. HR-05's cool to the touch so I suppose it sufficient enough.
