Bah, almost feel we're better off without it. :p

Very finicky and weird bench, in order to be competitive on dual core, it seems we must use the 2004 version. (Everyone else does) It seems to hate it when you use Clockgen, and really favors high FSB's. Memory timings do not seem relevant, speeds kinda do, but FSB plays a way bigger role.

hummm, its been a while since i used sandra much but IIRC clock-gen and sandra did not mix, it was all about what speed you BOOTED @ not what speed you clocked to.

i still have a fair amount of D-ice left, i hope to get the rest of my X1300 3D scores, CPU-Z suicide and ill try for some Sandra too now.

thanks

PS any way to link to the "preferred" version, i often have a hard time finding a selection of Sandra versions. (maybe its just me)

i have just read on another forum that this bench is going to be droped by hwbot

we should check

About dropping Sisoft and Pifast. We have no immediate plan to drop pifast, but we may drop sisoft sandra. The main pain with sisoft is that the results differ from build to build, and older builds frequently don't run on newer systems. : /

We're looking into Everest and Cinebench to replace Sisoft.

I wouldn't mind that, PI Fast I'd keep. They should also drop PC Mark 04, it's unsupported and doesn't run on most dual cores.

HEHE nice run joe.
Who cares if they gonna kill sandra or not. its here so lets attack it, and go out on top(or at least near the top) HEHE

Congrats on that stunning score bazx!!:)
1st Intel Core 2 QX6700 @ HWbot!
Third only behind two Intel Xeon Quad-Cores, and right there @ those scores!
No more points for the benchmark but still impressive!
