possibly a law suit????

you live in the states, there WILL be a law suit, you people sue over everything

It's called "SpeedStep", my old ACER 900Mhz P/// laptop does this as well. It can also be disabled EASILY (in the bios, or in power management by right clicking on the desktop).... It is also made known to users, IF they were to read the user agreements and the manuals that come with thire new units....
