I can't remove files under my controlpanel install/uninstall.

I have a few things under my control panel/install-uninstall programs that will not remove. The files seem to be uninstalled however they still show up in the list. Is there anyway for me to get rid of them completely? I use windows98se. Thanks

you can try TweakUI, I know it can do this

Use tweakUI. It will let you remove those from Control Panel. You can find it here. After you unzip it, right-click on tweakui.inf, and select install.
