I had to ... my GF2MX died. I was installing new drivers and it croked on me.:(
2 days L8R the Mrs. & me went and picked a new 1 up. ( she's the best....-yes dear :D )

Just plugged it in and 3d2k01 went from 4588 to 9973 !!!!!!

The game I usually play is sooooo smooth now.
"0" vid lag.
Mem Bandwidth does A LOT !
I think the GF2's have like 2.7GB BandWidth, and this Ti4400 has like 8.8GB of bandwidth.

I do recommend 1 of the newer Ti's.
Especially if your gonna upgrade from and older GF2 / MX series card.
Even the new GF4MX cards are faster than the GF2's.
(in mem bandwidth)
Now the Ti200/500 are a different story there.

Thought I'd share the info.

hmmmm, what do you exactly mean by croaked. Purposely or accidentally?

Well... I was swapping it back and forth between the DDR mobo (A7V266-E)and the 1 in my sig.... the DDR has 2.8v i/o normally and I have no idea what this 1 is....(KK266+)

I think the 2.8v is a bit OverKill for a GF2MX card, actually 2,8v seems a bit much for ANY CARD

heheheheh

?

The 2.8V is for the system memory.. the agp bus only gets 1.5V. At least I thought so.....:eh?:

Hmmmmm, I'll have to do some more research.

kick *** score on 3dmark i got the same card but i maxed out at 9200

Thanks, What CPU are you running?
When I "Bumped" the clocks on it, it went over 10,000 ! :D

is that at stock??? dang, that's better than my 4600...i got a 7200 the first time i tried... but it think it has something to do with the settings i put before i ran 3dmark...i had everything to the best detail and texture...i guess that's why it was so low...if i can ever stop playing the new game i bought...i'll try again..with performance in mind...
