I have an ABIT BE6 v2
I also (thought) I had a Intel 440BX chipset....
That's about the only chipset the Abit board supports (be6v2)

Now I went to a website, (http://www.ping.be/bios/) and I went under the "AWARD NUMBERS" section. I looked at some numbers.. and I saw tha my bios code or whatever its called

I440BX-w977-6A69KA19C-SH

and I saw that 6A69K says I have a:
6A6LK = VIA VT8371 (KX-133) chipset with Award BIOS v6.00 umm first of all, I wasSERIOUSLY under the impression.. in fact I know, my FSB is 100mhz, not KX-133?? wtf is that? and VIA?? well, maybe I just dont kow what I'm talking about.. can anyone help??

Dunno about the entire number, but the "A69K" portion indicates a BX chipset. All the Award BX BIOS numbers listed at Wim's include that sequence, although preceded by a "2" instead of the "6" in your number.
