Suicidal testing
Unfortunately my cpu isn't really stable at 11x148 with 2 volts(at least not in prime95)... I run the minimum tests since its a suicide score... I bet it'll get thru all the tests, but my time on my own computer is so limited (about 2 hours/day) that I have to save time wherever I can... such as disregarding the extra tests. I think the score means more if you run all the tests though, don't you?
But if you're really pushing the limits, it can help(I've crashed on the mulit-texturing test at unstbable cpu speeds once or twice). I've been switching between like 20 different drivers the last few mornings, and running only the game tests saves about a minute or two per run. I think it just saves time and lets you run more tests in the same timespan (possibly getting a higher score) more than it actually lets you make a run that you would not be able to do using all the tests.
All the scores for the 3dmark team except suicide(where anything goes) require that all tests be run. I got 6146 with all the tests run(same settings as my best suicide score), but when compared to other 3dmarkers on madonion, those 18 points make me place 14th instead of 10th. I'll keep trying it with all the tests though, until I get lucky and get a score that's as high or higher.
I might yank all my PCI cards out too, and see if I can break the 150 FSB barrier. Almost all the ppl who beat my score are running 160+ for FSB.
