I had the same problem as you do I cant do certain multis so I had to start uping the FSB im currently at 10.5 Multi/110 FSB keep in mind that when you do this you are now overclocking other devices like your RAM mine currently runs at 146Mhz without any problems its just somthing to keep in mind.

Whats your voltage? I tried that with mine and its not stable in the least! and I even bumped my retail 1ghz T-bird to 1.85V (using the BIOS monitor as a reference)

blue die 1ghz tbird ,abit kt7 running flawless at 11multiplier 112FSB
took a while to get there kept bumping the FSB and burn in for 24 hrs definitely hit the ceiling cant get any more
even tried the voltage jumper on the mother board waiting on better memory
looking hit 1250 mhz
