I use this program to eliminate all data within my hard drive so that no data is recoverable. I use to have no error message or any problems when attempting to use this program on my Asus P4PE. Usually a 7 pass rewrite of my hard drive takes 2 hours and a 35 pass will take 10 hours or so. Ever since I bought my Abit IC7, I have trouble using this program. Now when I attempt to do a 7 pass rewrite of my hard drive, the program say it'll take over a day to do that. A straight low level format with 0's take 4 hours when it use to take 1 hour on my Asus P4PE. I don't understand what's going on. I thought its the BIOS, so I went and update with the newest version of the IC7 BIOS but I still get that error message and I think that's the reason why its so slow. The error message is this: "PCI: Device 00:1f.1 not available because of resource collision". Thx for your help .
