I Got A Serious Problem Wit My Vid Card!!!! Helpp!!!!!

ok guys this is the thing, it happend to me b4 but somehow it fixed itself.
i was playing CS and alt tabbed, the screen suddenly went dark, i checked the brightness / contrast, put it max, still dark. its dark right now i can barely see what im typing. and i cant read any of the text thats on black. i restarted, it didnt help, my vid card is overclocked, so i underclocked it for now. wtf happened, anyone have this happen to them? HELP!!!
ask me for any more info i left out
o yea. Pine (company) ge2 mx 400 200/166 @ 225/190 when happened

o yea and it also changes it brigtness, it goes a bit better if i only have one window open , but if i change things or open new windows then it goes darker. and then back.. wierd

FIXED BY TURNNING MONITOR OFF!!! PHEW!! OK I GUESS ITS ANOTHER OF MY MONIS HEAT ISSUES

so its a monitor issue, not a videocards?
dont forget to degauss the screen if you have the option.
