I hate it!!!
Maybe it is just my UN-luck!
I have an Abit VA6. The memory bandwidth sucks! I have tried the
hacks using H. Oda's tools, and yes the performance did improve
to a level of just under my BX board(BH6). It made these improvements
at the cost of STABILITY. It will randomly lockup if I change the registers
to improve performance. Just my luck. Well I guess that I payed
my money, took my chances and got burned!
Next time, I will stick with an intel chipset.

Anyone have any thoughts or comments???

I hated mine too thats why it is in my Moms computer now. I like the bx and the 815e so far. Dump it and get a better board the first version 133 not the 133a was even weaker.

I don't exactly hate mine, but I want an Intel chipset next time too.

My benches after the register tweak took me to about 340/400 on the bandwidth test, but this sucks to me.

ABIT BX-133 is what I think I'm hitting next round. So long VIA.

I love mine !

Abit VT6X4 - 694x Apollo Pro 133/133A chipset.

Since I got it, it has always beat the 1ghz pentium in the
SiSoft benchmarks, unless I have the BIOS settings at
fail safe defaults.

Since I traded in my old PC133 ram for a Micron 256mb cas2
chip, I got the old 800EB almost catching the T-bird.

Ran 4 memory benchmarks last night, and the slowest was
411/486. Fastest was 422/497.

Works for me.
